Shunning a more rock & roll method of formation, the all-singing 3 piece was assembled from a series of auditions designed to find the perfect combination of experience, energy and talent.
Adam -
Bass guitarist and vocalist Adam Surplice is a veteran of the Gold Coast covers scene. He's played on most of the pub stages in South East Queensland, and fallen off quite a few of them as well.
Mikey -
Guitarist and vocalist Mike Haley is fresh off the boat from New Zealand, where he spent his rock-God apprenticeship wowing crowds with his guitar and charming them with his smile.
Hugh -
Brisbane drummer and vocalist Hugh Wheeler first started playing on pots and pans with chopsticks. He wanted to be a musician when he grew up, but you can't do both, so he's signed up to see how they do things down on the Coast instead.

This is a new line up for The Hillbilly Dix. The line up changed slightly due to a "Back to Basics" change in the band direction. As the resurgence in the pub rock scene is growing once more, we decided to follow our "Gut Feeling" and delve into the Pub Rock, Blues and Country once again.
The band is made up of members of our old band "Flatbroke" who were Pretty Damn good then and still are today!! These guys are hardened players who have covered nearly every style you can think of!

The Mirrorworld trio (formerly Dr.Rockzo) is an electric pop/rock outfit based in Brisbane. They have been performing full time since their arrival at Brisbane in 2007. They consist of Simon Meola (27) vocals/bass, Davitt Barry (21) vocals/lead guitar, and Jaime Bosomworth (29) drums/vocals. Their target audience is 18-35’s on a busy Friday or Saturday night. Weddings are one of their specialties too. They currently gig in Northern NSW, the Gold Coast, throughout Brisbane and also up the Sunshine Coast. Their voices blend into rich harmonies creating a very sought after sound. They pride themselves on having a highly professional attitude leaving venues eager to book them again and again. RusT are an experienced 4 piece band that have been playing the Brisbane pub and club scene for more than 5 years. Wasted consist of four Brisbane based guys originally from different parts of the globe. Since Wasted was formed in 2003, the line up has been Sam Chow on lead guitar, Tamihana Johnson on bass guitar, Alan McMillan on drums and Cliffy Dawson on lead vocals.
Wasted play many classic rock songs and cover such bands as R.E.M, The Police, Red Hot Chilly Peppers, Led Zeppelin to more recent bands like Jet & Powderfinger. The fact that these guys really enjoy what they are doing, shows through during there gigs and they can guarantee the crowd will be rockin.

'4-Play' formed in Brisbane (Australia) in June 2006. At the bands core, is a song list based on tried and tested pub rock. The bands purpose is to entertain crowds with the most noticeable pub rock classics, from the 60's chart busters, through to todays standout rock tracks.
A four piece line-up with all of the members adding to the vocal content in some way. The band aims to tease the audience with rock anthems that everyone can sing or shout along to.

The Beam is an energetic four-piece rock/pop covers band from Brisbane, Australia. The band was formed in early 2007 by Chris Haratsis (bass guitar) and Kienan Fitzpatrick (lead guitar), who played together in a band and were keen to continue performing music together. Jess Preston (lead vocals) joined the dynamic duo and finally Luke (drummer) completed the band. The Beam is an extremely professional,
hardworking group of musicians whose dedication and passion for music will lead them to success. Their setlist comprises of upbeat, melodic, popular music from the 70s through to now. The Beam is available for parties, pubs, clubs, corporate events and weddings, and can vary their set to suit the occasion.

Mason Rack was born to create music. his father; Billy Rack was a multi-talented jazz musician who Mason sites as the greatest man he ever knew, as well as his greatest musical influence. Along with brother Greg Rack on bass and Jay Conway on drums, The Mason Rack Band pumps out rootsy blues music and people can't help but be in awe.

And further abroad performing in venues at Great Keppel Island & the Northern Territory. Triplickit is a musical trio who have been together for about two years. In this time we have played from Kingcliff to Gympie, Capalaba to Toowoomba but foremost on our agenda is our local city of Brisvegas. Indeed we have played there quite frequently of late and in fact we have played together at various times before in and around Brisbane.
The band is looking towards playing further shows in and around Brisbane as well as a few road trips. We offer a quality, entertaining experience for the crowd on hand resulting in a good night out for all. Hope to see you there.
